Selected as a Support Recipient under the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's Global Supply Chain Strengthening Support Program

Gel Coat Biomaterials, Inc. has been selected as one of the companies to receive support under the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s FY2026 “Global Supply Chain Strengthening Support Program.”

A total of 10 companies were selected for this year’s program. Gel Coat Biomaterials, Inc. was selected for its initiative to “establish a production platform for new biomaterial products and promote application development and market expansion in new fields.”

We are advancing the research, development, and commercialization of biomaterials based on our proprietary technologies, while exploring their potential applications across a wide range of industries.

Through this support program, we will further strengthen our production platform, develop new applications, and expand sales channels in Japan and overseas, with the aim of reinforcing our overall business foundation.

■ About the Global Supply Chain Strengthening Support Program

The Global Supply Chain Strengthening Support Program is an initiative by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government for Tokyo-based small and medium-sized enterprises engaged in overseas business activities. The program provides support ranging from the development of growth strategies that take geopolitical risks into account to the implementation of those strategies.

In addition to supporting the development of growth strategies tailored to each company’s challenges and business characteristics, the program also provides support for strategy implementation, including the establishment of business bases, development of procurement sources, and expansion of sales channels.
