Selected as a Finalist for the Biotech Grand Prix 2026
On October 17, 2026, we will present as a finalist at the Biotech Grand Prix 2026, to be held at Center of Garage in Sumida, Tokyo.
The Biotech Grand Prix is a pitch competition held as part of TECH PLANTER, organized by Leave a Nest Co., Ltd. The program supports the commercialization and social implementation of technologies in fields including biotechnology, healthcare, medicine, drug discovery, medical devices, and research tools by connecting researchers and startups with potential corporate partners.
We have been selected as one of 12 finalists and will present under the theme of “Stabilization of Biomaterials and Biopharmaceuticals.”
Using our proprietary nanoparticle hydrogel technology, we are working to improve the storage stability of biomolecules such as enzymes and proteins.
In our studies to date, Gel Coat™ has demonstrated improved storage stability for enzymes that traditionally require low-temperature storage. We are currently advancing potential applications in
areas including biopharmaceuticals, diagnostic reagents, and enzyme formulations.
In this pitch, we will introduce the potential of our technology to reduce dependence on refrigerated and frozen cold-chain logistics and to address challenges associated with transportation and storage.
Through the Biotech Grand Prix 2026, we aim to expand opportunities for technology evaluation, joint research and development, and business collaboration with companies in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food, and related industries, while creating new partnerships focused on improving the storage stability of diagnostic reagents and enzyme products.
We will continue to accelerate the practical application and commercialization of Gel Coat™ through collaboration with a wide range of companies and research institutions.
