Participating in M's Salon Deep Tech Connect to Advance Business Collaboration in Industrial Equipment
Gel Coat Biomaterials, Inc. will participate in M's Salon Deep Tech Connect, to be held on November 16–17, 2026, and will engage in business discussions aimed at creating new collaboration opportunities in the industrial equipment sector.
We are developing technologies to address challenges caused by biofilm formation and biological fouling in factories and industrial equipment through our proprietary surface-control technology.
In equipment such as cooling towers and scrubbers, biofilm formation can reduce heat-exchange efficiency and affect equipment performance, potentially leading to higher energy consumption and increased maintenance requirements.
Our approach focuses on suppressing the initial adhesion of microorganisms to surfaces, with the aim of contributing to stable equipment operation, reduced maintenance burden, and improved energy efficiency.
Through business matching at M's Salon Deep Tech Connect, we will engage with companies involved in industrial equipment and plant engineering to better understand real-world operational challenges and needs, while exploring opportunities for technology evaluation, demonstration testing, and joint development.
One of our key focus areas is biofilm control in water-based industrial systems, including rooftop cooling towers and scrubbers, where biofilm can contribute to power loss, reduced thermal efficiency, and increased maintenance requirements.
We aim to use these business discussions as a step toward future technology evaluations and demonstration projects, and to advance the practical application and commercialization of our technology through collaboration with industry partners.
■ About M's Salon Deep Tech Connect
M's Salon Deep Tech Connect is a business-matching event that promotes collaboration between Deep Tech startups and operating companies through the network of Mizuho Bank.
The event brings together Deep Tech startups and companies from a wide range of manufacturing sectors, including materials and chemicals, machinery and electronics, metals and processing, transportation, and consumer-related industries, with the aim of creating opportunities for new business development, technology exploration, and collaboration.
For startups, the event provides an opportunity to build new connections with operating companies and explore pathways toward technology evaluation, demonstration projects, and joint development.
